This visual essay explores the notion of identity through a lack of stability. This represents the self as both a figmnet of the subject and a non existent but tangible image that acts as a psychological support for a subject to inhabit.

Subjects were captured through manual flash firing on long exposures, creating a self that merges and dissapears on the frame. Mirrors and other objects point to the materiality of the world and the self in the same perceptive dimetions as the subject itself.
